It is that time of year again.
The newest model of the iPhone will be available for pre orders September 11th, and in stores September 18th it is said.
Will anyone buy this model?
If so, why?

It depends. I will be eligible for my two-year upgrade with Verizon about the time the 6S comes out. If my 5S continues to work as well as it does now, I'll hold off. But if/when I start having problems with it, then yeah, I'd upgrade to the 6S.

Is there really a good reason to upgrade from the 6 or + if you have it? I've got a 4S and thanks to abismal cell phone plans in Canada I have to be very careful about what I get. Figure I'll wait till the 6S comes out then get the 6 or 6+ which will then be cheaper.

This is true, but if you are taking a contract, you are most times only saving $50,.
If you are buying out, like we are being made do here, taking the last years model could save plenty, and be just as good.

I have a 5s and will buy the 6s if it supports the latest 700 MHZ LTE bands on t-mobile. If it doesn't support those bands I will either upgrade to the 2016 model or switch to a high end Android device.
